Online Introductory Course for Teens and Adults New to Singing Lessons and Vocal Coaching.

Do you want to sound better when you sing and speak? Are you curious about what happens during singing lessons? Whether you are a brand-new singer or just new to formal vocal study, you absolutely can improve your singing by learning certain time-tested skills. This five-session interactive course will introduce you to these skills in an engaging, fun, and encouraging atmosphere. You’ll learn key basics such as:
- How your body works to make vocal sound
- How to improve your body alignment to free up your singing regardless of your body type
- How to manage breath for best singing and speaking
- How to sing with a wider range and variety of vocal colors for expression and enjoyment
- How to maintain your vocal health and stamina
Each session will include Q&A opportunities, plus exercises and suggested additional study material. Sessions will be recorded and available for online viewing for 30 days after the course ends.
Your class fee also includes an optional online one-to-one 15-minute session with Dr. Gori so that you know how to apply the material in the best possible way for you!

Introductory Vocal Class for Kids Ages 6 - 8

For kids who love to sing…and parents who want to help them do it better!
Do you have a budding vocal star at home? A kiddo who makes up in energy what they lack in accuracy? Or a shy singer who needs a little help to make their voice heard? This is the class for your young singer!
This fun, eight-session class for 1st and 2nd graders will provide a play-based introduction to the fundamentals of healthy singing and the language of music. Using the highly rated Full Voice Music Curriculum, which introduces music literacy through singing, we’ll explore the Tonic Sol-Fa scale and musical rhythm through songs and games.
The class will meet outdoors behind our home studio whenever the weather permits so that we have both healthy social distancing and lots of room for active games. Parents are welcome to bring a chair and stay to watch. (In case of inclement weather or sustained temperatures below 55 degrees F, we’ll meet online for that day.) The final session will include a mini-concert of all our silly songs and exercises.
Eight 60-minute sessions on Sunday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:30 pm from September 11 through November 13; no class on Sunday, September 25 or October 30.
