💳 Tuition & Payment

Payment Options

We accept cash, check, and credit cards (via Stripe)
Monthly installment plans require autopay setup through your MyMusicStaff student portal
Checks payable to Gori Voice Studios, LLC

Payment Terms

Studio Sampler Plans must be paid within 7 days of reserving one-to-one lesson dates *or* on or before your first one-to-one lesson, whichever comes first
G.V.S. Membership Plans may be paid in full or through five equal installments billed one per month. First payment is due on or before your first one-to-one lesson
Future installment payments are due on the same calendar day each month thereafter (e.g., if your first lesson is on the 10th, all subsequent payments are due on the 10th)

Additional Payment Policies

Late Fee: $20 if payment is more than 7 days past due
Missed Payments: If no payment is received within 15 days, lessons will pause until the balance is paid. Your time slot may be reassigned.
Refunds: We do not issue refunds

Family Discounts

10% off tuition for each additional family member enrolled
Full tuition applies to the first student; discount applies to others for that academic year
Two members of one family may share one G.V.S. Membership for an additional fee of $50. (Studio Sampler plans not eligible)

MyMusicStaff sends email and text reminders 72 hours ahead of lessons and events
Manage notification settings directly through your MMS portal

Contacting Us

📆 Studio Calendar & Closures

The academic-year calendar (including Group Classes, Musicales, and Closures) is released each year—please refer to it regularly.
Inclement Weather: We stay open unless power or internet is lost. You may switch to an online lesson if driving conditions are poor. If we must cancel, we'll call or text you.

🔁 Cancellations & Rescheduling

General Guidelines

Flexible Rescheduling

You may use your make-up credit to book:

Any available time slot visible on the MMS calendar. Open time slots have a vertical dotted line on their left border and say “Lesson with [teacher name], (0/1)”)
On one of your “flex days”. Flex days are the built‑in “extra” weeks included in your six‑month membership. Because the studio is open more than 16 weeks during your membership, these additional weeks act as a buffer during which you can reschedule any lessons missed earlier in your membership.

⏰ If You Cancel Late (Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice)

Even on short notice, you can still learn! Choose from these options:

Attend your regular time virtually. If you're unwell and can't sing, we can focus on:

Request a recorded lesson customized just for you, which may include:

🤒 Sickness Policy

We care about your health—and everyone else's, too.

If you or someone in your home has symptoms of a communicable illness (fever, sore throat, cough, etc.), please do not attend in person
Instead, cancel at least 2 hours before your lesson, and request:
- An Online Lesson, or
- An Asynchronous Lesson (as outlined above)

👩‍🏫 Teacher Cancellation

If your regular teacher is unavailable, another instructor will substitute during your scheduled time
If no teachers are available, you may reschedule or request an asynchronous option

📅 Permanent Rescheduling

We celebrate your involvement in productions, sports, and creative opportunities! To keep your vocal study consistent:

Always list your lesson time as a conflict when auditioning
Ongoing lessons support your performance success
